Everyone experiences difficulties, including problems that we create for ourselves and troubles we have in responding to the opportunities and challenges in life. These may be problems in relationships, anxiety about life transitions such as becoming a parent, or difficulties achieving professional goals.  Psychotherapy can be beneficial in dealing with these issues.

I am an experienced therapist who works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families to help with immediate problems as well as persistent patterns of behavior that keep people stuck.  My approach is psychoanalytic, which focuses on understanding the emotions and internal conflicts that underlie current problems.
